\nWhat would you think about a new lunch club in Anderson\u00a0to hear guest speakers\u00a0discuss politics and\/or business? A group of Andersonians believe it is time for this concept to become reality!\u00a0
\n1st Monday Club of Anderson\u00a0was formed in June 2011 to hopefully involve more people in the political process and to receive the latest information on\u00a0issues that affect all of us with our businesses and families.
\n1st Monday Club of Anderson\u00a0is a grassroots, conservative organization that is not affiliated with any political party but hopes to advance common sense conservative ideas on a local, state and national level. We will\u00a0NOT endorse candidates but hope to offer you the opportunity to meet candidates,\u00a0elected officials and other community leaders.
\nOur lunch will always be “dutch treat”\u00a0 and\u00a0we will offer a buffet at Masters Wok for $10.\u00a0There will be a yearly membership of $20 or you may pay $5 at the door. This will help off set certain expenses that will be kept at a minimum.\u00a0JOIN US FOR THE FIRST MEETING AT NO CHARGE OTHER THAN YOUR LUNCH!\u00a0
\n1st Monday \u00a0meetings will always be on the first Monday of each month beginning\u00a0Monday, August 1st at Noon.\u00a0The exception will be in September when the 1stMonday falls on Labor Day. We will meet the following Monday. The locations of our monthly meetings will be at\u00a0Masters Wok\u00a0on North Main Street and will last no longer than one hour. Our inaugural speaker will be\u00a0SC Representative Brian White, newly elected Chairman of the House Ways and Means. \u00a0Rep. White will\u00a0discuss the budget process and will update us on this past session.\u00a0 He will also be available for questions.\u00a0
