The Senate gave third and final reading to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.net\/cgi-bin\/query.exe?first=DOC&amp;querytext=4400&amp;category=Legislation&amp;session=117&amp;conid=3805944&amp;result_pos=0&amp;keyval=1174400\">H. 4400 <\/a>on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 with the amendment described in the previous <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\" width=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/firstrung.co.uk\/dbimgs\/hold%2520breath.jpg?resize=500%2C341\" height=\"341\" style=\"width: 122px; height: 91px\" \/>post on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/kevinbryant.com\/2008\/05\/23\/immigration-legislation-our-last-bite-at-the-apple\/#comments\">Thursday, May 23, 2008<\/a>. This is indeed the strongest immigration law passed by any state in the United States of America, including Arizona and Oklahoma. Now the only thing stopping this bill from getting to Governor Sanford\u2019s desk is the SC House of Representatives. If the SC House votes to \u201cconcur\u201d it goes straight downstairs. If the SC House votes to \u201cnon-concur\u201d then the bill goes to a conference committee.
