Vick. My son is Rep. Ted Vick. I would like to ask\u00a0 you to please pass Bill H 3803, concerning &#8220;unlicensed persons\u00a0 being able to shampoo hair under the supervision of a licensed\u00a0 cosmetologist&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I have been a hairdresser for the past 24 years. Many of those years, I\u00a0 have hired a &#8220;technician&#8221; to assist me in this manner. Unfortunately, the person\u00a0 had to be a licensed cosmetologist, just to shampoo hair. It has been very hard\u00a0 to find someone to fill this position.<\/p>\n<p>This would be a great opportunity&#8230;to encourage others to go into\u00a0this field of work.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of jobs can be created in SC, if this legislation\u00a0 passes, and this poor &#8220;tired&#8221; hairdresser, would certainly appreciate\u00a0 the help!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your consideration in this matter.<\/p>\n<p>God bless,<br \/>\nJan S. I can&#8217;t believe the SC House passed\u00a0legislation that actually removes a regulation.
