\nFirst off, I wanted to let you know that I am excited about traveling around the district this next week. I’ll be meeting with constituents and touring businesses in Greenwood, Greenville, Oconee, Laurens, Anderson, and Pickens Counties next week. One of those stops will be a listening session at the Powdersville Chick-fil-a on Tuesday<\/span><\/span> from3:30-4:30pm<\/span><\/span>. If you’re in the area, I would love the chance to see you and hear what’s on your mind. The address is 3420 SC Hwy 153, Piedmont.<\/p>\n

Secondly, I’m very excited to announce a special feature about this year’s Faith & Freedom BBQ<\/a>. Continuing with our theme of honoring veterans and their families, this year we will be teaming up with Upstate Warrior Solution<\/a> to collect school supplies for the children of veterans. So when you’re out shopping for back to school supplies for your children or grandchildren, please think about grabbing an extra backpack, markers, crayons, pencils, folders, or any other school materials<\/u>. Upstate Warrior Solution will be onsite the day of the event to collect these items and distribute them to families across the Upstate. This is a great way to give back to our community and thank our veterans.<\/u><\/p>\n

Lastly, I wanted to remind you to purchase your tickets soon for our 5th Annual Faith & Freedom BBQ<\/a>. We currently have Sen. Ted Cruz, Gov. We also need your help in getting the word out!<\/u> Currently we need people to help us in two important areas. We need people who are willing to call fellow conservatives and invite them to attend, and we need people who are willing to distribute flyers we’ve made for the event throughout the upstate. We’re looking to get flyers circulated at local diners, community centers, churches, and small businesses. Like I’ve said before, this event is powered by people like you and only with your help will we be able to get to word out.<\/p>\n
