The Anderson County Republican Party (ACRP) will hold Precinct Reorganization March 16, 6:30 pm<\/span><\/span> at\u00a0seven regional locations. Precinct Reorganization is performed by political parties once every two years,\u00a0as specified in state law. This is an opportunity to become involved in theACRP and gain a voting voice\u00a0on the county party level.Precinct officers will be elected for each precinct, including an Executive Committeeman that has the\u00a0precinct\u2019s vote on issues at ACRP monthly meetings. \u00a0Additionally this is the process to become a\u00a0delegate to the ACRP county convention and be placed on the convention ballot to seek election as\u00a0delegate to the SC Republican Party state convention.<\/p>\n

The fee to attend the Anderson County Convention on April 16<\/span><\/span> is $5. Each precinct is allowed a\u00a0specific number of delegates to the county convention, voted on during the reorganization meeting.<\/p>\n

Also, if you wish to place your name on the county convention ballot for election as delegate to the May\u00a02, 2015<\/span><\/span> SCGOP convention, the fee is 5 dollars. \u00a0THESE FEES MUST BE TURNED IN AT THE\u00a0REORGANIZATION MEETING. \u00a0Receipts will be provided by the Regional Captains.<\/p>\n
