Congressman Duncan coordinating flood assistance

October 6, 2015 by Kevin Bryant

jeff-duncanFriends,

South Carolina has been shaken by this storm, but the resolve of its people remains strong.

My staff has been busy reaching out to county managers to see how our office can be of assistance. We’ve dedicated an employee to answer questions and help assist with federal programs. We’re also doing our part on a personal level to bring water and other resources down to some of the most devastated areas of the state. We’ve rented a van (not at taxpayer expense) that will be collecting water at Concord Baptist Church in Anderson tomorrow from 8:00am-9:00am and Verdin Farm & Garden in Laurens from 11:00am-12:00. Access to fresh clean water is the number one need in South Carolina at the moment, so if you’d like to help in some way this is certainly an option.
If you live in the Third District and have any questions about damage to your home or property, feel free to call my office at 864-224-7401. Please continue to pray for South Carolina and look for ways to help those in need.

Blessings and Liberty

Jeff Duncan
