panera Alpharetta

February 19, 2012 by Kevin Bryant

Ann thinks I’m an ubergeek for blogging from panera about the things we’re doing in Alpharetta on my birthday trip but she’s happy to have her Dr. pepper, chai tea latte and book.

the V Alpharetta

February 19, 2012 by Kevin Bryant

not the same romantic atmosphere as the Varsity downtown, but the frosted orange and onion rings are to die for. You may not know it, put I presented Ann with her engagement ring on the straw of a Varsity frosted orange. After 3 times, she finally said “yes”.

sip Alpharetta

sip

Tapas is a dining style popular throughout Spain. Dishes are designed for sharing and offer guests to experience multiple dishes and flavors.
We had : House Smoked Salmon (hickory smoked served with tartar sauce and grilled baguette), Pistachio Crusted Scallops (orange juice reduction & roasted baby zucchini), Barq’s Braised Chuck Rib (sweet corn pudding), Grilled Marinated Shrimp & Andouille (charleston style grits and herbed cream), and Chocolate Coconut Pie (vanilla bean ice cream)

sage wood fire tavern Alpharetta ga

February 19, 2012 by Kevin Bryant

we snuggled here

Sage Ann offered a trip to Alpharetta for my 45th birthday. 1 st stop was Sage. We shared an average filet mignonne over mashed potatoes. also had crab meat stuffed mushrooms very good. the best was bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp with a rosemary twig as the skewer. We have a rosemary bush in the backyard. I’m going to experiment. dimly lit atmosphere with live jazz guitar. good but overpriced.

Sage Alpharetta offers a city chic yet casual atmosphere featuring contemporary American cuisine with global influences. We offer Market Fresh Fish, Seafood, Hand-Cut Steaks, Chops, Gourmet Salads, Chicken, Pastas and Burgers all prepared over our live hickory oak woodfire grill.

Le Moulin de Saint Laurent

August 30, 2011 by Kevin Bryant

Le Moulin de St Laurent

Wonderful pasta with seafood in a light cream sauce finished off with a blue berry cheese cake dessert. Our table was on a deck next to a river with a water fall just a few feet away. The B&B restaurant is situated in an old flour mill dating back to 1720. It is on an island (l’Île-d’Orléans) about 20 miles north of Quebec City. This was by far our favorite spot!
