s. 968: raise your own taxes if they’re too low
For all the socialists who demand higher taxes, here’s your change to pony up. S. 968 will give you the opportunity to raise taxes yourself.

TO AMEND CHAPTER 6, TITLE 12 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA INCOME TAX, BY ADDING SECTION 12-6-5062, TO PROVIDE THAT TAXPAYERS MAY MAKE VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE, TO PROVIDE THAT INCOME TAX FORMS MUST CONTAIN A DESIGNATION FOR THE CONTRIBUTION, TO PROVIDE THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS ACCOMPANYING THE INCOME TAX FORM MUST CONTAIN AN EXPLANATION OF HOW THE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT WILL BE USED, AND TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT TO REPORT THE AMOUNT COLLECTED PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION.
I can here it already, sh Senator, we wanted you to raise somebody else’s taxes, not ours!

Life’s too short to follow your links. Take a couple of days off and come up with something original. Perhaps move on to another post on this site. Until then, I continue to enjoy playing mallet to your mole.

Enlightenment eh? Just take a gander at this link and you’ll be enlightened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0

Nice comeback, Potsie. You are welcome, however, for the enlightenment.

Whatever man, you’re so full of crap.
Since you love him so much, will you be having his baby now?
Freak…

How exactly is this “posturing” to look like a taxcutter? This isn’t posturing to look like anything. This is an outlet for those who want to pay more taxes–nothing more and nothing less. This is empowerment for those who need to give more to the government. This has nothing to do with cutting taxes.
There’s no need to read between this line: “For all the socialists who demand higher taxes.” It means that this bill is “For all the socialists who demand higher taxes.” There’s no more to it. It’s a bill to empower socialists who want the government to have more of what they make.
I’ll call you delirious socialist from now on. TAZZWOH!
Dec 17, 2009 @ 14:15:10
Here’s a salient point for you: Kevin Bryant is posturing to look like a “tax cutter” but pushing this. This bill does nothing useful at all and is a waste of effort except for the way it looks. I also quote the first sentence in his post “For all the socialists who demand higher taxes” which is what makes me read between the lines on it. But of course you can’t do that can you?
I’ll now call you trollbeard from now on. HOWZZAT!
Dec 16, 2009 @ 20:46:00
You came back without a salient point. Do you have one stored somewhere?
Dec 16, 2009 @ 20:18:06
You left out the “looking like” part of that statement. I applaud anyone for working on cutting waste but posturing isn’t something I like to see.
@Palmetto Conservative – Yeah, i’m deranged, what of it? You Troll this site, why can’t I?
Dec 16, 2009 @ 18:11:07
“republican tax-fighting maniac” is that me?
Dec 16, 2009 @ 15:01:57
Straight off the rails and headlong into derangement. Please come back when you have a salient point.
Dec 16, 2009 @ 09:22:28
Wheeee, arguing semantics is fun isn’t it?
Keep up the intellectual dishonesty Palmetto Conservative we all love you for it.
I’m hostile because I’m fed up with people like Kevin Bryant and you. Since you can’t seem to read between the lines.
Personally I think that if you don’t want to pay any taxes you shouldn’t have to, but then you also shouldn’t use any of the public services that are provided because of taxes. So if you don’t pay taxes and lose your job, then go starve who cares about you.
Dec 15, 2009 @ 07:50:12
“Whatever man, just reading between the lines and you know it there’s no way this isn’t provocation against Obama’s postion on raising taxes against the top tax bracket.”
That’s one whopper of a sentence. Where to start….
Anyway, how about just reading the lines that we all can see. Nothing in this bill (it’s not an amendment) prevents anyone in any tax bracket from self-imposing more taxes. So far you appear to be in complete agreement with the premise. Why so hostile?
Dec 14, 2009 @ 22:13:04
Whatever man, just reading between the lines and you know it there’s no way this isn’t provocation against Obama’s postion on raising taxes against the top tax bracket. Please don’t pretend, it’s intellectually dishonest…
The amendment is frigging stupid too, just some posturing to make the person who submitted it look good. Useless waste of time in the name of looking like a republican tax-fighting maniac. Though i’m sure you’ll defend it like the reverse troll you are.
Dec 14, 2009 @ 19:15:12
I don’t see anything in this post about an “argument against raising taxes against the highest tax bracket.” So, if we could stick to the subject then we know that you believe that taxes are high enough (as evidenced by your unwillingness to raise them on yourself). What, then, is your problem with this post?
Dec 13, 2009 @ 16:26:27
Of course not lunkhead, who would? Taking this position in the argument against raising taxes against the highest tax bracket is just stupid, I give you jerks props for sticking to your guns though… Bleh…
Dec 12, 2009 @ 12:28:43
So, James, do you plan to voluntarily pay more taxes? That’s the subject here.
Dec 11, 2009 @ 15:12:14
Once again proving you don’t get it… I’m sure if it were up to you you’d not pay ANY taxes right?
