Bryant gets a 99 on fiscal responsiblity!
I’m pleased to get a 99 on a recent scorecard by the SC Glub for Growth. Below is link to the SC Senate Scorecard. Since I didn’t get a 100, kinda makes you wonder which vote was Josh and the gang wrong on?

One thing that needs corrected is the personal property tax on vehicles. Because this state kills you on personal property tax on vehicles we have unsafe vehicles on our roads. While many people can afford to purchase newer vehicles and make the payments they can not afford the amount of taxes this state charges. We are 13th on the list of states that pay high taxes. As a resident of the county I do not see little benefit for my tax dollars. It is as if our state thinks they have a direct line into your pocket book to take what they want and do not appear to care what the citizens think…I just bought a new truck and the personal property taxes was $1,100.00. At least a mugger uses a gun when they rob you!
The state gives so much away to get companies to move in that they have to rape it’s citizens to make up for the give-aways!

I think your 99 was to make you think that no matter what you have accomplished there is always room for improvement and not to rest on your laurels.
Congrats on the 99 and look forward to at least a 99 1/2 next year.

Curious to see the interim Treasurer’s grade here… almost as curious as the range of Republicans on the senate grade sheet.

I wish they used this grading scale when I was in high school and college. I would have had a much greater GPA. A 69 is a B+. Wow.
What I found to be ironic, was Dan Cooper and Brian White had the same number (15 I think, which is an F-). Whoda thunk they would be so close to each other?
Mike Gambrell (Ronnie Townsend’s mouthpiece) had Anderson County’s lowest number. Way to go Ronnie, I mean Mike.
